Why I Like PBS, Reason # FANDOM!
Sometimes I go to You Tube for reasons other than fanvids. Not often, you understand, but sometimes. And of course when I actually do that?
Fandom happens. Heh.
(And fandom discussed without all those enraging "Oh, goodness me! Just look at all these amusing freaks and losers! Why do they do these things? Amusing, eh wot? Oh, let's just point and jeer, shall we?" overtones that make me want to chew nails and spit tacks. Yay, PBS!)

Date: Saturday, 21 July 2012 05:02 am (UTC)I was amused by the accurate depiction of Sherlock fandom as especially prone to oddness. We get VERY bored in the long waits between series and turn to crack to keep ourselves occupied.

Heh. I tend to think of crack as whimsy on steroids, and its flowering as the result of both boredom and mischief.
