What got me most about it was how he was SO clearly under the impression he was scoring Big Points With Women while telling this story. I was sitting there, mouth agape, thinking, "Is he not hearing the words coming out of his mouth?"

Can I hear a "hell, yeah!"? There are few times in my life when my mouth actually falls open in amazement, but this was one of them. I turned to BB and said, "Did I really hear what I think I heard?" And the subsequent bit about making sure they could all go home at night to cook supper for their families just dragged my jaw further floorward.

I was waiting for him to add, "And since of course women are not as smart as men, I also made sure to check all of their work extra-carefully so they wouldn't be embarrassed, because I'm supportive of women in the workplace!"
