I Just Finished the Second Season of Sense8 ...

... and I am already counting down to the wrap-up movie that Netflix has promised. The show really deserved a third season, but that cabbage has already been chewed too many times On the Internet, so I won't take it on.

But my guess is that they'll need significantly more than 2 hours to wrap the stories up properly.

I'll say it was very satisfying to see
Whispers' face meet the desk, but it's also nerve-wracking to wonder why the hell they weren't able to rescue Wolfgang. Ah, well, this whole series has been predicated not on logic, but on heart. And I'll take heart over logic anytime almost anytime. (I'd prefer heart and logic, but there you go.)

At least this finale is scheduled to show in 2018, so I won't have to wait until 2019, as I might have to do with Game of Thrones.

I assume they don't know where Wolfgang is being held?

I agree they know where he is for this very reason.

My only real bitch about the season ender was: here they all are, together in meat-space for the first time and ... no real hugging and "OMGs" and etc. It was weird. I mean, yeah, they had immediate work to do and got right to it, but not even a group hug? Really? As an editor, it struck me as a poor writing choice there.
